TotSpot Preschool

was created in the Fall of 2008 by Mrs. Shannon. Since she held a teaching certificate in the State of Arizona, and couldn’t find a satisfactory program for her own daughter, she began teaching classes out of her home using a very hands-on approach. In May 2009 her first graduating class included 5 little girls. Through parent referrals, Miss Shannon had 24 kids in her graduating class in May 2010 and a waiting list of students. It was at this time that she decided to open a commercial preschool location. TotSpot Preschool’s Gilbert location opened in October 2010 and today has over 250 students and continues to grow! TotSpot’s second campus in Chandler, Arizona was opened in August 2016 and also has class options for students ages 2-5.

The program at TotSpot Preschool is designed to get children ready for every aspect of kindergarten: socially and academically. The number one goal of the teachers is to help the children get excited about going to school and learning! Children between the ages of 2 and 5 learn and explore together in a fun and nurturing learning environment.

TotSpot Preschool features a high quality, structured academic program. The curriculum includes language arts, reading readiness, math and handwriting. The program also includes science, social studies, art and music. The curriculum is integrated throughout the preschool day. Everything we do throughout our preschool day is helping the children to learn and develop academically, socially and emotionally.
